Tinder is an app that can help you meet people in your area. You choose who you like simply by looking at their pictures. The interface works by swiping a person left or right, depending on whether you like them or not.
It became quite famous for the status of an easy way to have several hookups. Primarily young men search for sexual partners and come up with the worst turn on lines.
But researchers of the University of North Texas have proven: the actual victims of online dating are men. Seemingly women are way pickier than men and do often reject, ghost or unmatch them. If they are truly searching for a partner they basically have to fight over the girls' attention. So men, who use tinder, suffer more often from self-esteem problems, than those who date in real life.

Due to a survey, molested women were asked, why they did not report the incident to authorities. Those are the statements they made.
This is really dangerous. It leads to a safe zone for the offenders. Since there are so many ways to harass somebody, they will overuse the “soft” ones, because then they will not get sued for their inappropriate behaviour. “If I will just look and take a picture, I’m off fine. That’s too small of a case, they wouldn’t even think about reporting me.” That is why it is so important to follow up with actions on each case! This behaviour is unacceptable and has to be reported since it will only get worse and worse.
Keep in your mind: If you report somebody, you may help the one who could have been the next victim.

In 2014 14% of german teenagers have received a video containing porn or brutal videos
The spread of brutal or pornographic videos towards minors is illegal in Germany. Nevertheless, almost every sixth teenager has received one in 2014. If you remember that in 2014 social media was just getting started you may come to the conclusion that it must be much worse nowadays.
Marketing of pornographic content towards teenagers has sadly become quite popular since puberty makes them desperate for information and satisfaction. It’s an easy target for influencers, who want to gain some money through selling pictures on platforms like only fans. They would even go as far and break the guidelines on platforms, where they can more easily reach younger groups, to advertise their only fans account. Disgusting behaviour.

If we compare this to the 2% of reported cases in the UK, we would get around 555.818 actual assaults in just 2017.
